GUEST POLICY

Club Members are allowed to bring up to three (3) guests with them at any one time to Bar Arrigo, the Restaurant and the Socialista Lounge. Tables at the restaurant are guaranteed only to those with a confirmed reservation, which is always recommended to reduce any waiting time. 

If a member does not arrive with their complete party the full name(s) of each person in their group must be given to the front desk team. This can be done onsite or prior to arrival by emailing theclub@casacipriani.com.

Honorary Members staying in our Rooms & Suites (to be considered as a unit with reference to each room), for each room occupied, are authorized to bring with them to Bar Arrigo, Restaurant and Socialista Lounge, at any time during the period of their stay, up to a maximum number of four (4) guests/Honorary Members staying in the same room and external guests. Reservation is always recommended to reduce any waiting time.

Club and Honorary Members may make arrangements with the Proprietor to bring additional guests. Maximum group size allowed is 10 guests per table (including the member). This can be done by reservation prior to arrival by emailing theclub.milano@casacipriani.com.

Members must be present at the Club at the same time as their guest(s) and are not permitted to leave their guest(s) at the Club upon their departure.

DRESS CODE

Our iconic building evokes the refined elegance of the Art Nouveau period, so we ask that all members and guests respect the tradition of that era through appropriate attire. Members and guests who do not adhere to the guidelines below may be denied entry. 

PERMITTED

  • Jackets are strongly suggested for gentlemen in the dining rooms.
  • Plain polo shirts until 6:00 PM.
  • Jeans, in a solid color with no rips.
  • Smart, clean trainers, as part of an overall smart attire.
  • A simple round or V-neck T-shirt can be worn with a blazer only.
  • Tailored shorts may be worn by women.
  • Elegant hats such as a fedora or beret (which should be removed in the dining rooms).

NOT PERMITTED

  • Hooded sweatshirts or athletic wear of any kind, including running shoes.
  • Sports shoes or trainers bearing more than 1-2 non-neutral colors and/or large logos.
  • Ripped denim pants or shorts.
  • Men’s t-shirts unless under a suit jacket.
  • Flip flops and men’s sandals.
  • Men’s shorts.
  • Overly revealing attire.
  • Baseball caps, beanies, and any other hats, aside from those in the approved list.

We ask that you ensure the dress code is conveyed to any guests you invite to the Club. The final decision on access to the Club and its facilities shall remain entirely at the discretion of the Proprietor and, on his behalf, the Proprietor’s staff present at the entrance to the facilities or at reception.

PHOTOGRAPHY

Photography and videography on Club premises is forbidden in all public areas. Taking photos or posting on social media is also prohibited to guarantee our members’ privacy.

AGE

All guests visiting the Socialista Lounge must be at least 18 years old.

CHILDREN

Children are welcome at our restaurants daily until 6:00PM. After 6:00 PM people under 18 years old are not permitted in any areas of the Club.

ANIMALS

Animals are not permitted at Cipriani Restaurant and Socialista Lounge, unless medically required or with the explicit permission of the Proprietor. Pets up to 10-15 kilos are welcome at Arrigo’s Bar and Casa Cipriani Rooms & Suites. Members and/or their guests who do attend our premises with animals are always deemed to be personally liable for their conduct. In any case animals cannot stay on the Club’s furniture.

DESCRIPTION

I. The Club’s name is Casa Cipriani Milano.
II. The purpose of the Club is to provide facilities, hospitality, health, wellness, entertainment, food and drink to its Members and their guests for the pursuit of social, non-political, and recreational activity.

BASIC PRINCIPLES

I. The Club is a proprietary club being the property of Cipriani Milano Srl dba Casa Cipriani Milano (the “Proprietor”).
II. The Club’s premises are located at Via Palestro 24, Milano, MI 20121, Italy.
III. Members have no financial obligations to the Club other than as set forth in these Club Rules and in respect of the purchase of membership and/or accommodation services on the terms and conditions set out in the relevant contract and any purchase of goods and services provided by the Club facilities.
IV. The provisions of these Regulations shall apply to all guests of the Rooms & Suites of Casa Cipriani Milano during the period of their stay (the “Honorary Members”) as well as to their guests as indicated below.
V. Honorary Members have access (during the period of their stay at the Club) to the room booked and its services and to the facilities, areas and services of the Club, that include the Arrigo Bar, the Cipriani Restaurant, the Socialista Lounge and the Wellness & Fitness Center. Honorary Members are required to respect the provisions of these Regulations for the duration of their stay at the Club.

I. Guests of Members may access the areas and use the services of the Bar Arrigo, the Cipriani Restaurant, the Socialista Lounge and the Beauty area.
II. Club Members are allowed to bring up to three guests with them at any one time to Bar Arrigo, the Restaurant and the Socialista Lounge. Club Members may make arrangements with the owner to bring additional guests by prior reservation.
III. Honorary Members (to be considered as a unit with reference to each room), for each room occupied, are authorized to bring with them to Bar Arrigo, Restaurant and Socialista Lounge, at any time during the period of their stay, up to a maximum number of four (4) guests/Honorary Members staying in the same room and external guests. Honorary Members may make arrangements with the Proprietor to bring additional guests by reservation.
IV. Members must be present at the Club at the same time as their guest(s) and are not permitted to leave their guest(s) at the Club upon their departure.
V. If a member does not arrive with their complete party, the full name(s) of each person in their group must be given to the front desk team. This can be done onsite or prior to arrival by calling the Club or emailing theclub.milano@casacipriani.com
VI. The Proprietor reserves the right to refuse admission to any guest of a member in its sole discretion.
VII. Members are responsible for their own guests’ conduct and expenditure. Should a guest fail to comply with the Club’s rules while on the premises, the member shall be deemed to have committed the breach of rules themselves and could be subject to disciplinary action at the discretion of the Proprietor.
VIII. Persons under the age of 18 are not permitted in the Socialista Lounge.
IX. Children are welcome at our restaurants daily until 7:00 PM. After 7:00 PM children under 12 years old are not permitted.
X. There is no smoking permitted in the Club except in designated outdoor areas.
XI. Members may be allowed to hold private events at the Club with the permission of the Proprietor, and on such terms and conditions as may be agreed from time to time, including in the interests of other Members. In the interests of privacy, Members and their guests are requested not to disclose or share in any public or private media any material or information in relation to the event without prior agreement with the owner.
XII. Members and their guests (for whom they are responsible) shall conduct themselves in an appropriate manner while on Club premises and refrain from any activity that might cause embarrassment or offense to any member, guest, or employee of the Club.
XIII. Members and their guests (for whom they are responsible) shall not bring the reputation of the Club or any of its Members into disrepute.
XIV. The decision as to whether any of the Club’s rules have been breached is solely at the discretion and opinion of the Proprietor, therefore, the Proprietor reserves the right to send reminders and/or warnings or take such measures and sanctions as it deems appropriate under the Rules and/or the respective contractual relationship with the Member.
XV. Members are required to inform their guests in advance of the provisions of these Rules and the general rules of conduct adopted within the Club. Members are personally responsible and liable to the Proprietor for the conduct and expenses of their guests, for their guests’ compliance with the provisions of the Rules and in general for any damage or non-compliance caused by their guests to the Club, other Members, guests or third parties. If a guest fails to comply with the provisions of the Rules, the Member who introduced the guest shall be held responsible for the breach. Therefore, in such cases, the Member may be held personally liable by the Proprietor and be subject to disciplinary action and the penalties laid down for such violations, issued at the discretion of the Proprietor.

GENERAL CONDUCT AND STANDARDS OF BEHAVIOUR

I. Members and their guests shall always conduct themselves in a courteous and respectful manner towards all people present at the Club, including, without limitation, the Club’s staff, management, and other Members and their guests.
II. The club has a strict policy on confidentiality. Photography and videography on Club premises is forbidden in all public areas, as well as their sharing with third parties. This is to ensure as much discretion as possible.
III. Members and their guests are requested to have their phones in silent mode and refrain from speaking aloud on mobile phones. Using portable computers or other business electronic devices after 6:00 PM is forbidden in common areas.
IV. Members of the Club and their guests shall not make any mention of or comment on the Club, its members, their guests, or any of the activities that take place on the Club’s premises to the press or any media organization.
V. Members are forbidden from using the Club’s address to receive any form of personal correspondence or represent the Club’s address as their personal residence or official place of business.

USE OF CLUB FACILITIES

I. Members shall be entitled to use the Club’s facilities and premises within the Club’s stated opening hours.
II. The right to use and attend dining and bar areas of the Club is subject to availability as determined by the Proprietor in its sole discretion.
III. The usual hours of operation of the Club shall be determined by the Proprietor, in its sole discretion.
IV. The Club reserves the right to and will refuse admission to and/or eject any member or their guest who appears to be intoxicated upon entering or when using the Club’s facilities.
V. All items of property brought into the Club that are left there are entirely at the risk of the member and/or their guest(s). The Proprietor will not be responsible for any loss or damage to the individual property of Members.

GAMBLING

I. Gambling of any sort is not permitted on the Club’s premises.

LIABILITY

I. Except in the instance of negligence on the part of the Proprietor, the Proprietor’s liability for injuries or damages suffered on the premises of or in connection with the operation of the Club shall be limited to no more than the sum of the annual subscription paid by the member.

DISPUTES AND DIFFERENCES

I. Any dispute or difference of opinion as to the meaning, interpretation or application of these rules shall be determined by the Proprietor whose decision is absolute, final, and binding on all Members of the Club and its guests.

OTHER MATTERS

I. The Club’s Spa and Fitness facilities are subject to their own set of specific rules detailed in a separate document that shall be made available to Members upon request at any time.
II. Members and guests are asked to refrain from bringing in food and beverages from outside the Club unless medically required to do so.
III. The Proprietor will from time to time require Members to have restricted access to some or all the Club’s premises for maintenance purposes and/or private hire of the facilities without Members having recourse to compensation of this temporary restriction of access.
IV. Members and guests are requested to refrain from referring to the private activities of other Members of the Club or guests staying at Casa Cipriani by any medium, public or private.
V. Members and guests are asked to respect nearby residents of the Club when entering or exiting the premises.
VI. Animals are not permitted at Cipriani Restaurant and Socialista Lounge, unless medically required or with the explicit permission of the Proprietor. Pets up to 10-15 kilos are welcome at Arrigo’s Bar and Casa Cipriani Rooms & Suites. VII. For the avoidance of doubt, Members shall have no proprietary rights on the premises and/or the property of the Club, including, without limitation, the intellectual property and other intangible property of the Club.
VIII. Members and guests shall not use the names, logos, colors, trademarks, service marks, photographs, trade dress, or other identifying features of the Club without obtaining the specific prior written approval of the Proprietor as to the specific use.

STAFF

+

I. No member or guest has the right to give instructions to any employee of the Club that relates to their employment or duties as a member of staff.
II. No member or guest shall solicit, induce, or incentivize a member of the Club’s staff to assist with reservations or access for non-members that goes beyond our guest policy.
III. No member or guest shall solicit, induce, or incentivize a member of the Club’s staff to leave the Club’s employ.
IV. Gratuities and tips paid to the Club’s staff are entirely at the discretion of Members and guest(s). No other gifts shall be offered or given by Members or their guests without the explicit consent of the Proprietor.
V. No member of the Club nor guest(s) is permitted to solicit or employ Club staff for personal or business-related purposes.
